Bit O`Denmark Restaurant in Solvang

We were craving for dessert and stopped here to get coffee and a sugar rush. They were just about to close but were such gracious hosts and welcomed us. The atmosphere is comfortable and vintage.Brilliant coffee!! Amazing desserts! The service is the best! Friendly conversations, patient and polite waiters, great experience!

I've never had Danish food before and didn't know what to expect or have any place to compare it to. I had the smorgasbord and the sausage, meatballs, saurkraut, and mashed potatoes were good. The servers were all friendly and provided good service.

A nice restaurant with Danish entree selection. Service was quick and attentive. The food was a bit salty but comes in good proportion.

We mostly had appetizer, so I can't say much on what the food really taste like. I will say it was slow when I went even on fourth of July, so that was good. I felt like the staff was a little pushy, but I understand they want to make money. Our waiter, to me, felt like he was a little rude to his coworker when she was talking to us. It is a normal price for any type of restaurant, so it is pricey if you get a main course. I say give it a shot and leave it to your opinion, but for me I might come back. Just not a place I have to come back to.

My husband and I had not been to Solvang in years. This place has always had one of our favorite places. We were flooded when we walked in. What an impressive remodel. We loved the old world charm of this restaurant but now, WOW! Gone are rugs the booths and the old dining room sets. It's now painted in traditional white and blue with a lots of modern frills. What I am happy to say has not changed is there wonderful service and their great food.

IT TAKES THEM FOR EVEEEEERRR TO BRING THE FOOD. And also the quality you get for the price is really BAD!!!!Wouldn’t recommend this place AT ALL👎🏻

I was going on a bike ride 🚲 there to have dinner 🍽 but because of the covid 19, they closed the restaurant after 12 noon. I am not able to give my opinion but after talking to locals about it, they say it is very good. I'll be back to try it again soon and I will let you know. I guess it used to be a church back in the early 1900s and then it turned to one restaurant for a while and then it became the restaurant that they have today and after talking with many people they say it's their favorite place to eat so I really can't wait to to try it myself um I don't know exactly what food from Denmark is but I am willing to give it a shot so as soon as this covid problem lifts a little bit maybe I can get in there and I will make sure that I give my best review and take as many videos and photos as I can so I can help other people have a good day thank you
